Optimist Youth Foundation Grant Program
The TC Optimist Club has been proud to provide grants to local youth groups since 1966. Groups that are a 501(c)3 and have a focus of serving the youth in our community are always welcome to apply for grants through the Traverse City Optimist Club..
How to apply?
Our grant application is linked below. Just download and complete the Fillable-Form then click the submit button at bottom of form, you may attach additional documentation to the email for our review. Or, you may return it by postal mail to the Traverse City Optimist Club at the address listed below. Grants are typically awarded in the spring although we will accept applications throughout the year.

Are there any restrictions?
There is no maximum dollar amount, However we do try to spread funds around so large funding requests can be difficult to meet. Organizations from the following counties are welcome to apply; Antirm, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, and Wexford.
Note: Additionally, Organizations can use our tools and tips to participate in the Annual Rubber Duck Race and earn direct funds for your group.
